Ultrasound therapy
Ultrasound therapy is a treatment method that uses mechanical vibrations with a frequency of more than 20 kHz.
Ultrasound therapy helps “soften” scar tissue, which is essential for restoring movement and unblocking nerve endings. Ultrasound can also be used to locally administer various medications, enhancing their effect on an injured joint or spinal segment. This method of ultrasound application is known as phonophoresis.

Indications for ultrasound therapy

- Neurological diseases: osteochondrosis, radicular syndrome, post-surgical rehabilitation after intervertebral disc hernia surgery, facial nerve neuritis;
- Digestive system diseases: peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, post-cholecystectomy condition, chronic spastic colitis;
- Respiratory diseases: bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia;
- Cardiovascular diseases: hypertension (stages I-II), atherosclerotic occlusions of the lower limb arteries;
- Gynecological disorders: inflammatory conditions of the uterus and appendages, pelvic adhesions, ovarian dysfunction, lactostasis;
- Ophthalmic diseases: scar changes on the eyelid skin after injuries, burns, and surgeries, chalazion, stye;
- ENT diseases: tonsillitis, rhinitis, sinusitis;
- Skin diseases: dermatoses, skin itching, neurodermatitis, eczema, trophic ulcers, keloid scars;
