The Chief Physician of I.D.Clinic, Islam Dababseh, attended the International Congress on Cellular Therapy and Bone Marrow Transplantation in Abu Dhabi
On October 26, 2024, the chief physician of I.D.Clinic, Islam Dababseh, along with doctors Oksana Dababseh and Amina Dababseh, attended the second annual Congress on Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, organized by the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center (ADSCC) at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi. The event marked a significant milestone in the field of cellular therapy and regenerative medicine in the region, bringing together leading experts from around the world.
The congress opened under the chairmanship of Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, the President of the Congress, in the presence of UAE officials. During the initial high-level session, moderated by renowned CNN host Becky Anderson, the role of artificial intelligence in transforming healthcare was discussed. Specifically, CEOs of major medical organizations shared their vision on the impact of AI on diagnostics, personalized medicine, and overall patient outcome improvement.
The scientific program included sessions dedicated to the treatment of myeloid malignancies, advancements in CAR-T technology, and innovative stem cell therapies for neurological disorders. Additionally, new therapies for autoimmune diseases and the latest research on induced pluripotent stem cells were reviewed.
The first day of the congress demonstrated significant progress in cellular therapy, as well as support for international collaboration in bone marrow transplantation and regenerative medicine.
