IPL treatment

Photorejuvenation or phototherapy (IPL therapy) is a modern cosmetology procedure based on the technology of high-intensity pulse light (IPL - Intensive Pulse Light) with different wavelengths.

Modern hardware technique of photorejuvenation allows penetration into the deep layers of the dermis. Under the influence of heat, target cells (pigment, blood vessels) are destroyed, the production of elastin and collagen is stimulated, metabolic processes in cells are activated, and their nutrition and oxygen supply are improved. The body perceives photorejuvenation as a natural process of skin stimulation. The effectiveness of phototherapy has been clinically confirmed.

The thermal effect of broadband pulsed light makes the skin more dense, elastic and elastic, causes a pronounced tightening effect. This happens due to the twisting of collagen and elastin fibers under the influence of heat. The light wave is absorbed by target structures (hemoglobin of blood vessels, melanin of pigment formations) and at the same time does not damage the skin. Depending on which problems need to be solved, the doctor chooses the necessary wavelength, duration and number of pulses. In addition, the term "photo-rejuvenation" means equalization of skin tone due to the elimination of pigment spots and fine vascular network (which are signs of aging and especially photo-aging of the skin). In general, the effect of "rejuvenation" is noticeable already after the first session, but to accumulate positive results, a course of treatment is required (4-6 procedures, depending on the severity of age-related changes).

In the presence of vascular stars, pigment spots or a desire to get rid of freckles, photorejuvenation can be performed from the age of 18. Early photorejuvenation will help to prevent the appearance of the first wrinkles, and with age to postpone the need for surgical intervention.

During the procedure, a person feels thermal impulses. After photorejuvenation, erythema (slight redness) and swelling (very rare) can be observed in the treated area. The rehabilitation period is from one day to a week.

IPL therapy is the most effective way to combat the manifestations of photoaging. It is recommended to take a course of photorejuvenation every autumn or winter and then the sun will not be able to add wrinkles, pigment spots and vascular stars to you!
