Physical therapy and its methods at I.D.Clinic

Many people know that physiotherapy is a complex of procedures, but it is not always clear what is included in this complex. Sometimes it seems that the doctor will show me the exercises once and I will do them at home, but this is not the case.

Today we will analyze which physiotherapy methods are used by our doctors at the I.D.Clinic medical center

Physical therapy, also known as physical therapy, is a treatment method that uses physical forces and techniques to relieve pain, restore function, and improve patients' quality of life. A comprehensive approach in physical therapy includes the use of several methods and techniques that interact and complement each other to achieve the maximum result.

The complex approach of physical therapy is based on the assumption that better results are achieved not only through the use of one method, but through a combination of different approaches. Some of the main components of the comprehensive approach to physical therapy used at I.D.Clinic:

Manual therapy is a method in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Manual therapy is not massage, but treatment with hands.  The chiropractor affects the human body comprehensively in order to restore the correct biomechanism of movements. The effect is not only on the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, joints, fascia and ligaments), but also on most other organs of the body, such as internal organs, brain membranes, skin, etc.

Another important honey is exercises and motor rehabilitation: individually designed exercises, taking into account the characteristics of the patient and his treatment goals, help to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and restore normal motor functions.

We also do not forget about restorative procedures with the help of physiotherapeutic devices, in I.D.Clinic we use: physiotherapeutic ultrasound effects (with therapy), electrical stimulation, shock wave therapy can be used to improve blood circulation, relieve inflammation and pain.

A comprehensive approach to physical therapy includes various methods for pain management: from heat therapy and cold therapy to massage and relaxation techniques.

And yet we are forced to work a little at home! To prevent a problem or injury from reoccurring, a physical therapist provides information on how to perform independent exercises. During the entire period of physical therapy, the patient performs these exercises under the supervision of a doctor to be sure that independent performance of these exercises will not cause harm.

At I.D.Clinic, physical therapy is a systematic and individually adjusted approach to patient treatment. It aims not only to eliminate symptoms, but also to restore the body's functions, prevent the recurrence of the problem and improve the general well-being of the patient. Importantly, each patient has unique needs, so a comprehensive approach allows the physiotherapist to choose and combine the most effective methods to achieve optimal results.

The team of professionals at the I.D.Clinic medical center wishes you good health and warns that self-medication and doctors without medical education can be harmful to your health.
